Screen goes black when making a call
 

When I make a call, as soon as I select call, the screen goes black and stays black until a few seconds after they answer. I can't end a call until they answer or their voicemail kicks in. It's only just started doing this, what have I done wrong? :confused:

What device are you using? This may help others determine you problem better :)

headset can do the end-call thing...

but if your screen is turning off there might be something wrong with proximity sensor..

try opening keyboard during call when your screen wink :)

if you cant fix black screen then install phone speakers switcher from the repositories then go to sittings and select it then you can see a choice to end calls by holding but not pressing the camera button ;)

Hi guys, it's still doing it, has anyone else got any good ideas? It won't let me do anything, if I open the keyboard, a few seconds later it's fine but by then it's already half way through their voicemail message. Have I installed an app that's done this or is there anything in the settings I can change? It's doing my head in.

are you scared from flashing and finding it is a hard thing to do ? or it is about losing data ? anyway this is a very easy flash guide you just need to use your english :)

Thanks. I flashed it when I first got it but it took hours as most of the time my PC couldn't recognise the phone. I've also got loads of apps that will take forever to put back on but it seems I have no choice.

Hi,

I've flashed it and it's still doing it. It also won't let me install the FM faker as it says it is already installed but when I try to delete it it says it is a critical program and won't let me uninstall it.

If anyone has any bright ideas, they'd be most welcome.
