dude i dont mean to be rude but for heaven's sake please brush up on your language. it's pretty hard to understand what you're trying to say and your thread is nothing but just another attempt to get tgalal to release a version for n900 fast.

there is already a java version use that ffs...if you don't want to use that be patient. tgalal has already said after the n9 version he'll work on the n900 version. where were you for the past 2 years when the n900 didn't have whatsapp? be patient and stop posting such stupid threads.

Naru you are seriously living in your own world. Yes people want whatsapp on N900 but you are shooting randomly in the air by trying to install N9 wazapp on N900. I am sad to say that all you will get is ridicule from this thread and nothing else. Please delete it and be patient. Tgalal did say he will work on N900 wazapp in future, so please wait for it.

And its absolutely ok to not be perfect in English as it is not our native tongue and since I am also from India, let me translate what i wrote in Hindi
"Bhai tu kyu sab pe force kar rha hai apna thread. Tere ilava aur koi post nhi kar rha yahan. Jis tarah tu wazapp install kar rha hai vese nhi hoga, kyunki tu programmer nhi hai aur tujhe pata nhi ki kaunse parts missing hain. Very true. Unlike all of the other user threads where they are created for whining purposes, naru is actually attempting to port wazapp over to the n900. I would have to say this is a good thing so lets hope his work helps towards a successful port of wazapp to the n900 :)

Why don't you extract the data files inside the deb files, get the required libraries, put them in a folder, compile the missing ones (that will bring up MORE dependencies, which will need more compiling and more dependencies) and then append that folder to the library path with the terminal, extract the wazapp deb data file to N900 root and launch wazapp?? Maybe this could work, insane amount of compiling probably ahead ;) or some N9 specific Harmattan calls make ti segfault and all hours of work are for nothing, not willing to risk throwing so many hours away :)

I thought the best approach would be to create a chroot environment from the flasher image and use qchroot from easydebian to do the magic but, ironically, aegis is f*cking up my attempts on installing anything and I want dpkg to work :'( right now I manually extracted the contents of the deb but of course I am missing python and am not bothered in finding and downloading ALL dependencies debs and extracting them all. So in short, does anyone have a valid restok.conf they can PM me (or know how I can generate one, it seems it autogenerates but then the phone casts it as invalid, I am getting the exact same problem as here http://pastebin.com/iwnYjDvv) together with a gziped /home/user folder from an N9, I have not got one available and maybe I end up running this :D I have no interest in whatsapp but seemed like a nice learning challenge :) learning is always good :D

I am just customer care officer this theard i am just opened becuz of the one rezan all most of peopel are just working on n9 we all are know that after cssu update no one working for n900 thats why i am just trying to remeber to all .. Lot of users are using n900 they all are doing love n900 like

naru, as you admitted on the first page you are not even a developer so what is your chance of pulling it off? Absolutely too slim to take you seriously. You don't even have the source code, only the deb file.

What you are really hoping is for some serious developer to come in and do the job or to prod Tgalal to do the port faster. You may be aware from info in other threads Tgalal has started the N900 port but he is having his hands full now attending to bugs for the N9 version so why can't you wait?

By the way, the language used in your poll is incomprehensible. I know English is not your first language but isn't it the national language of India?

The fate of the N900 is a natural progression as Nokia has stopped production. The community will get smaller over time due to devices getting less and less. There will be less interest in the platform and less new apps coming out for it. The same thing will happen to the N9 when Nokia kills it.

It may be time to transition to another device. If you want to stick to your N900 until the bitter end, know what you are in for and don't complain about the platform dying. It's like complaining about getting old.

frind i told na i am nokia care tecanical helper and supoter i am customer care officer thats why evry day i am using defrent nokia model .. 1000 up nokia model i used i know about all nokia os and phones how to set up email,back up,flashing,that all r in my work directory this is not my own handset lumia 800 is compny demo i am using only n900
