Besides, he can always create his own thread with the proper [Announce] tags :D |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
Its a great idea, but it needs some tweaking! Like a requirement of you to have to cover the proximity sensor for at least 3-5 seconds before it activates, atm just trying to swipe to close a text conversation can initiate a call!
Disabling it for the time being, until a setting for a time delay is implemented :) |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
at least our n9 has another feature now, another reason to love it more, :)

Re: in store now for free autocall sms
Great app! I think it should be combined with easy answer.
One thing that should be modified or added is an accelerometer method to detect if the n9 is actually near your ear of if you're unintentionally covering the proximity sensor. |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
And phone speaker switcher too, damn cool, :)
|
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
Unfortunately, I never want to make a call after receiving an SMS; I always want to respond with another SMS.
|
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
its an awesome app...there is a bit of conflict with phone speaker switcher..at times when i use it to make a call and remove it from my ear, the speaker is not activated automatically.
it could also be that i've 3 programs monitoring call+proximity sensor (easy answer, autocall, phone speaker switcher). all useful and when you get used to it you really don't want to go back. |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
It's a good app to rival SGSIII but an even more useful app is to reject a call with a prepared sms message. Symbian phones can do it. Any developer willing to take this up?

Re: in store now for free autocall sms
Not available in my country... (the Netherlands)
:( Edit: weird, after searching manually for: autocallsms it showed up works great! Edit 2: so this seems to check only the proximity sensor. if you cover it with your hand, it will make a call too. So if you put it in your pocket without getting out of the sms or if you just put the phone upside down, it will make a call, beware!!!! I hope there will be some improvement in the next version about this issue |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
yes, its just almost same with phone speaker switcher

Re: in store now for free autocall sms
Hi guys,
I've totally forget to create a properly thread for this app (and no ibrakalifa , I'm not angry with you, rather I would thank you ;) ) Anyway I've received a lot of mail about the proximity sensor sensitivity, so I'll work on it to make it customizable in some way. Thank you. Regards, Daniele. |

1 - Accelerometer 2 - Proximity 3 - Initiate call If you want to call someone or receive a call, you'll bring the phone towarts your ear. You can "calculate" this "move" with the accelerometer. If the accelerometer picks up the gesture (that you put the phone to your ear), it'll activate the proximity sensor. If the proximity sensor is covered with your head/ear, it will initiate the call. |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
any news?
This is a great feature, more important than I thought! |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms

Re: in store now for free autocall sms
I just updated to version 1.0.1.
Now it waits for a second or two before initiating the call. This simple feature prevents the accidental call when you cover the proximity sensor with a finger. |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
very intelligent feature indeed ,as it always initiated a call when i used my ryt thumb for swiping the window from up to down to close the app !!!!! Thanx a lot !!!!
|
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
In fact, you can change your timeout value in Settings. So if you prefer to wait for 10 seconds before initiating the call, now you can.
Thanks b0unc3. |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
Damn, you're always quicker than me! ;)
Hope you're enjoying it :) Anyway if you have any other feedback/requests , just let me know ;) |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
b0unc3, couldn't you implement the way like I mentioned before? :p

Re: in store now for free autocall sms
Does anybody else have an issue with the delay before calling feature?
If I set it to anything >0seconds it doesn't work but at 0 it works as before... |
Re: in store now for free autocall sms
