[Announce] TimeTrack - track your project times N9/N950
5 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I want to show you my time tracking application for N9/N950. This application lets you track your times for different projects. For now you can add, delete, reset your projects. For further evaluation you can export your stopped periods to a csv-file. The csv-file will be stored in the documents folder. Supported languages by now: englisch, german. Version Ovi-Store Latest testing version Feedback welcome! EmaNymton |

Any other feedback?
I was thinking about adding some information like unit-time, cost per units (see screenshot). Is this required by someone? |

I think some UI tuning would be nice, also you should add a dialog for csv export which allows to give your files different names, because it's useful for me to save different states. ;)
Thanks. AlphaX2 |

Thanks for your suggestion, I will include it in one of the next version.
Last weekend I found some time to extend the functionality a little bit, Now I'm working on finishing following (in my oppinion essential) missing features:
I submitted the basic version to QA and will update the application in the future with this features. If you have any more suggestions please let me know. |
Re: [Announce] TimeTrack - track your project times N9/N950
Great App.
Everything works perfect. U should think about some features like: GPS Location, Categorie-Support and/or notification in the eventfeed (or something like that). Keep up the good work. Itīs a very usefull app! Thumbs Up! |
Re: [Announce] TimeTrack - track your project times N9/N950
Thanks for your reply!
By GPS Location you mean the possibility to bind a project to a specific location and take time automatically, if you are at that place? Sounds interesting then but you have to keep the app open... or writing a daemon... hmm... thinking about that... The first basic version is available at the Ovi-Store for 0,99: http://store.ovi.com/content/287482 If you want to donate, than buy it, otherwise download the deb from this thread for free, I will update it instantly, if a new version comes to Ovi-Store. |

Re: [Announce] TimeTrack - track your project times N9/N950
Hi,
I found some time to add some more features, now you can add/edit/remove single periods of current projects. You find the deb-file of this testing version in the first post of this thread. To open the edit mode you have to double click on the project you want to edit. Before I'll send it to QA I would be pleased, if someone can test the functionality and give a feedback (bugs?) Any other feedback still welcome! |
Re: [Announce] TimeTrack - track your project times N9/N950
Hi, back from vacation I found a QA failing mail for 0.2 in my mailbox. Please could someone with latest firmware confirm this (see steps below), because I don't own a N9. On my N950 the buttons contains text and I don't know why this problem occurs because I use the buildin TimePickerDialog. You found the latest build in the first post of this thread.
Thanks for your help! Failed QA SUMMARY: The buttons from the "Select Stop Time" and "Select Start Time" screens don't contain text. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Download the content OTA. 2. Install and launch the content. 3. Select a project. 4. Press the "+" button. 5. Modify the time values. ACTUAL RESULT: There is no text on the buttons from the "Select Stop Time" and "Select Start Time" screens. EXPECTED RESULT: The butons should indicate what functionality they have. AFFECTED DEVICES: N9 Firmware 20.2011.40-4_PR_001 |
