somehow difficult with so many threads, and left everything to follow the part with everything that goes with the PR1.3 and what is not.

Perhaps we can even create an abstract. I think that would help many more.

"PR1.3 MOD Compatibility"

I just started from a clean PR 1.3 yesterday. Im "pimping" my phone now....

I had a mod that changed the colors of the icons in the low power mode, like the software update icon was green, text message & email icons were blue and the charging icon changed from red to yellow to green. Does anyone know which mod I'm talking about? I totally forgot what it was. . .

I think that you are thinking of N9 QuickTweak, which had that mod as one of its many options.

There are apparently two different versions of N9 QuickTweak version 7.2. Are you referencing the original 7.2 (approx 11MB) or the New 7.2 (approx. 10MB) or do they both work with PR1.3?

I guess it´d be the safest option to wait until Schturman has tested all his tweaks in N9QTweak on current FW and only install afterwards...

i use only Filebox and RootFilebox and both is working well. FileManager is a app , no Mod or Patch.

if update through OTA,nitdroid should be fine(i think),but flash,its a diff story,tried it just now..

Unrestricted system-ui = Working
Brightness-applet = Working (Had to reinstall after installing MT-Toggles)
Quick Status Updater = Working
MT-Toggles = Working (Had to manually kill sysuid)

Can you update the list to say whether the tests where done on a re-flash clean install of PR 1.3 or an update from PR 1.2, as some of these will only work with an update.

I believe if you have open kernel on PR1.2 and update to PR 1.3 OTA it does not update the kernel, hence why all the thing like nitdroid and Unrestricted system-ui still work when you update. But if you flash to PR 1.3 from flasher tool you get a new kernel, which is why they dont work.

unrestricted system UI will break your phone and wont let you install/unistall ANY app :) in order to fix it do as i do

you MUST have inception installed to fix this

OK, I started the update.
First call: "Inception, Optimizer (core) & OptimizerN9, will not work !
Next the download, took <4minutes.
Installing now, stays on 0% for a long time (3min), and is now on 10% after 8 minutes .
Hmmm, it seems to hang @90% install, already 15 minutes, total time now: 1hr2minutes :(

OK restarted and the messege is now : "Rescuing software update.
Please do not interrupt."

Or, you can simply download the package using apt-get: in terminal,

• devel-su -> rootme
• apt-get -d install system-ui
• exit
• cd /var/cache/apt/archives
• /usr/sbin/inception ./system-ui_1.3.2-1+0m8_armel.deb -> rootme

Thanks for this. So, I would say that unrestricted-system-ui and all related packages are currently broken since their installation bars the installation of any other software. (The related packages are not compatible with system-ui-1.3.2-1+0m8_armel.deb)

For those with openmode, overclock should still work if you updated OTA. Doing an OTA update with openmode updates everything except the parts that need flashing, and the PR1.2 kernel is compatible with PR1.3.

Hello, I commented that install (PR 1.3) and then install (Qtweak 7.2) and give me error, then uninstall it and install the (ver. 6.6) which runs without any problem on my (N9 LTA 16gb black). So far 100% stable, the only thing that even the mods are not test since I have install the desktop app which conflicts with mods Qtweak. The version 6.6 now starts as 7.2 which still do not understand but it works 10. I hope my contribution will serve.

I've just uninstalled old 11mb version of 7.2, then installed new 10mb version of 7.2.
Opened terminal (not n9 qtweak):
devel-su
apt-get update

when it was finished my n9 qtweak 7.2 worked like a charm (it still do :D).

It does not work with inception, maybe with open mode work, but not with inception.

I downloaded 7.2 aprox 4 days ago, wich was 11mb big. Now it's new wersion with same numbers after PR1.3 release with 1 mb less, so it's just 10mb big.
So this other 10 mb (you have to redownload from n9 qtweak thread again) is correct.
Once you have installed this 10mb version:
1. go to the terminal (you must have to tick developer mode under the settings/securty/developer mode and it will install some package by itself).
2. type in:
devel-su (default password is rootme)
3. type in:
apt-get update (wait few minutes to finish)
4. open n9 qtweak (wait few minutes to finish there too)
5. you are ready to use it.

Probably you know how to use terminal app (grey icon with green simbol ~$, but just in case I wrote it :D

First post, go easy on me. ;)

Not sure how many people actually use these two hacks but they are two of my favorite for the N9, LED Event Notifier 2.0 and the Android/iOS user agent. I'd like to report that the LED Event Notifier works perfectly! The iOS and Android user agent both work just as before however the only thing I've noticed that doesn't work anymore is the copy and paste which kinda stinks.. Also this is all with flashing 1.3 instead of doing the OTA update.

LED Event Notifier is totally awesome! If it didn't work after PR1.3 I'd be in a heartbroken downward spiral.

How it's possible that you are reporting here that mt-toggles works fine on PR1.3, and on this page I get information that I have to wait for new version of unrestricted system ui:

i install on Qtweak so: T,1,1 than,

1: Brighness
2: BT
3: Flash
4: Eco
5: 0

and it haves work.

Update: I managed to get copy and paste to work to my surprise!! Went to reinstall the grob via apt-get install --reinstall grob

I was thinking this would completely revert the browser back to how it was originally but instead the android grob im using currently remained and copy and paste works once again. Below are the steps I took that enabled all of this to work.

ariadne sh
cd /home/user/MyDocs/
cp -r grob /usr/bin/
perl refhashlist.pl
apt-get install --reinstall grob

This mod is now functioning as it was in PR 1.2 and remains enabled after a restart. Hope this comes in handy to whomever runs into this issue :)

openmode obviously wont work at the moment since there hasn't been a new kernel due to the fact there isn't a source at the moment.

It works but it would break your phone in the sense that you would not be able to install any new application (unsatisfied dependencies). We reported it as working and then realised this error later. I have indicated so in this thread, and so have others. It is just that first post has not been updated to reflect this.
