Would you trust this??? Buying N9

My girlfriend wants to buy a N9 I advised her to get an android phone but she said she don't like them same for windows phone, she wants N9 with MeeGo.

Now there is quite a few sites that google shopping shows i am not sure which one would be better

Site 1

Site 2

Site 3

Site 4

Site 5

Some of these sites don't even have pictures or descriptions of the phone

Maybe you know any other good sites that sell N9 for reasonable price in UK?

Cheers guys

Lambdatek is a name I'm familiar with, and I know a few people here have bought their N9 from. I'd keep clear of Ebay though.

Your girlfriend has impeccable taste. She knows what is good and she is not a crowd follower. Don't let her get away!

I would go with someone like play.com if they still have them? or expansy UK! you will have some warranty!/leg to stand on if you have any problems!

http://www.play.com/Search.html?sear...lproducts&ob=3

just had a look on expansys1 doesnt look like they sell it any more!

Lambdatek are a real company. I would be careful about Play or any foreign site, don't you have to pay a customs charge for importing?

Singapore and Malaysia currently have the cheapest prices for n9 both new and used. You should look into getting it from there as the prices for a 64gb version are the same as what you are being quoted for 16gb.

Well i did buy N9 from expansys and it was great, but they don't sell it anymore.

Play.com is a rip off when it comes to phones.

Lambdatek seems to have over 1000 reviews most of them are good

and i just found this: ChatandVision it has 3,118 reviews

Hi,

Last week I have bought a black 64GB one from mobi-city.co.uk and am actually typing this on it now. They added 2yr warranty and a car charger for free. It arrived in 2-3 days.

It's an asian variant I believe and is made in China. It had 1.2 on it.

Hope it helps,
Chris

Hi,

Last week I've just bought a black 64GB one from mobi-city UK. It arrived in a few days.

I think it's some Asian model based on the charger and is made in China. The code under the SIM tray is 059L7G7. Got a free car charger and 2yr warranty for free.

Hope this helps,
Chris(a happy N9 user)

well i would have said amazon but the prices are ridiculous now, i got my black n9 64gb for only £360 with a leather pouch and a screen protector but that was ages ago... go with play.com i've brought quite a few stuff from "play" they have generally good service.

Aren't there any shops in the UK that sell it? I mean real shops. When you go out, get in a car, go to the city centre, enter a shop and ask for N9? No risk that you get some chinese crap, warranty (you know where to find them), you get the phone immediately, oh yes, one minus of all of this. You have to go out.
But seriously, guys, there are couple of things that you should not buy via Internet. Mobile phones, hard drives and condoms.

Congrats on the smart girlfriend !

Like the UK here in The Netherlands the Nokia N9 was not officially released. However a number of shops (brick&mortar) are selling it. Some of these shops have branches in Belgium.

That is always the best option. Price wise it does not seem to matter with a spread of just 10-15 pounds.

nah N9 was not released here in uk, as it was thought to be competition for lumia 800 =[

i got my one from expansys a UK online retailter and my N9 is made in finland.

It's not only about the best place but price too, she is buying a "dead" phone, i don't want to her to spend +300 pounds just like that
