[SOLVED] Can't see saved pictures.
Hi friends,
i don't know exactly when this happened, maybe from a camera apps ( i installed panorama , kaleidoscope) I can't save pictures from browser , email or mms, it say "picture saved" but i can't find it in the gallery or with filebox. If i try to save the pic two times, it says "name already exist, saved as nameofthepic-1". I uninstall camera apps, and now the gallery don't update, it don't show last pics i took with the camera, but i see them in filebox. Somebody know this problem ? What can i do to update tracker or gallery ? Thanks. |

Btw Panorama and Kaleidoscope don't have anything to do with it, it's just that the N9's tracker sucks..

you've found your culprit!
download and install: http://stwoowerks.cixx6.com/xtra/gal....0.1_armel.deb before that navigate to /home/user/ and /home/ see if there are any .jpgs or .pngs there remove them from there by copying to another location then run the above...reboot after running it and open gallery up...it should refresh things in a few mins... thank wook_sf for the .deb instead of me giving you the commands to do it manually... Edit: to run the file you downloaded just type in terminal as user: gallerybugx then press Enter... |

wow, what a mess in my /home...
well, now the gallery just show vids from dcim, no pics. i remove pics from /home, install gallerybugx, lauch it and reboot. Did i miss something ? |

Let it refresh for somewhile...give it a few mins then reboot then open again...tracker needs to work hard after all to find all the porn you've stored :p

to restart tracker:
tracker-control -r your contacts, messages, call logs will get deleted...Remember to disconnect from the internet before doing the above... |

always sync your contact with an online service...if you can't get any just sync with your nokia account...also you can export/import contacts from the app locally too...

Well, after some test, pics are saved in Pictures folder, but i don't see saved from browser pics on the gallery...
Maybe the tracker is really slow... I will wait and maybe try to remove some pics from the device. Edit: gallery don't show wallpapers, i think they appear in the gallery , no? |

ok, so i copied a pic from Pictures folder to download folder, and it shows in gallery.
Why tracker don't track Picture folder ? What can i do ? Can i edit a file to add folder in tracker ? Or something like that ? |

you have to run the app first and then go to terminal type gallerybugx
after that restart your n9, all pictures should show up and hopefully no need to restart your tracker. |

ok, solved, i use n9quick tweak to track pictures folder.

I am having the same problem and nothing from the above (Except flashing) helped. Let me see if I got it straight: I downloaded gallerybugx, ran it from filebox and then opened terminal from filebox and wrote gallerybugx. Restarted the phone. Nothing! I used N9QTweak and typed "P" "Add/Remove your folder to/from Tracker" used option "2" 1. Add my folder to IgnoredDirectory 2. Remove my folder from IgnoredDirectory 3. Backup my new Tracker file 4.
