The new update is on it's way.

New features are:

• Support for Wake On Wan (WOW)
• Rules for when a Magic-Packet is sended over WOW:
  • Always
  • Only on mobile connection
  • Only when not connected to defined WLANs
• You can now edit an device (sorry for this :rolleyes:)
  • Homescree-launchers are updated according to the changes
• Improved the input of the MAC-Address
  • I've not implemeted it as a straight-up input field due to bugs in QML-Textfield
• Now portrait and landscape is supported
• Faster launch of the app
• Some other small changes

Now it is time to translate the app.
I've decided to create a project on Transifex, where anyone can help me translate this app into the languages that are mostly used.

The faster the translations are done, the faster I can upload the update to Nokia Store :)

Possibility for Wake on Wan support ? Btw if you plan to use this thread as a support page, I think you have to remove the deb file otherwise Store QA might complain about it.

No, I use the GitHub project page as support page, but thanks for that advice. I will remove the deb package from the downloads page to be on the safe side.

Thank you for posting.

Works well, looks good and is easy to use. The features to have homepage icon and script for ProfileMatic for automation is excellent.

A couple of small things:

- There doesn't seem to way to edit anymore the entries after adding them.
- Entering MAC addresses with that spinner is really awkward. I think I'd rather even use a straight-up text input field. The paste function alleviates the pain though.

Those are minor rumblings. Great work and thanks for the software! I will donate soon.

@ajalkane: Thank you for your feedback.
You are right - in this version, you can not edit an device. You have to delete it and add it again. I will add this in the next release.
Also I will have a look on the MAC-entering-behaviour :)

I've implemented this feature last week but i have to make some more changes. I think that i can update this app in 1-2 weeks.

Before i release this update, i want to translate it into some more languages and therefore i need help from the community.
I will post a link here to transiflex, when i have freezed the texts, so that everyone can help translate it.

even though I'm not an N9 owner so I can't test your app, I would like to contribute by translating it in Italian.
I only need to know if I can use the English translation as a reference because I don't know German ;)

I think the English translation should be good enough to use it as a reference, even if I'm not so good at English :)

Someone could also check the English translation and correct it, when there are errors :)

By the way, is there a way to port an Harmattan QML app to the N900?
I will also work on a Sailfish port soon :)

Can you add croatian on the list? I don't have N9 so I can't test it but this doesn't seem to be as difficult as guayadeque was.

Ok, I translated the strings to hungarian language, hope it will be helpfull the small N9 community in our country ;)

Done for me too :) I have only 2 strings left (one is the GPL license text, I'll search the official translated one) but you see 100% because I uploaded the English translation file to ease my work :)
I plan to finish in a few hours, but like kinggo I can't test it...

Sorry for the silence in here :p

I am such an idot :D
I had written the app on top of a self-made PR1.3-SDK, so i have to backport the app to PR1.2, because I don't know how much users have PR1.3 alreade installed on their phones.

Also I decided to translate the source to English in order to have it as source langeuage in Transifex. I hope that helps the translators a bit in translation :)

I have changed the source language to English.

Unfortunately I had to make a new project on Tranisfex and I was not able to migrate the translations to the new Project :(

Sorry again for my late reply.

Here is a beta release with all finished translations (English, Finnish, German, Italian and Portuguese so far).

Please test it and make sure your translations are fine :)

Feel free to play arround with the new features (like wake on wan) and report bugs if you find some :)

You can load any of the included locales by running the app from command line with the following postfix
For example, if you would like to load the german translation, you have to run:

If you run the app without this postfix or launch it from app menu, it will use the current system locale if available. If it's not available, it will load the english translation by default.

I made some changes in the about page that are not in the translations yet. Also these changes are not finished yet - it looks a bit ugly now :D

Great!

Just to make sure: this 0.9-beta version is now for PR1.3, right?

If it is still on PR1.2 I think can test it on my N9, cause I currently have had your previous stable version 0.1.0 running fine on my phone (and that was on PR1.2, or was it?)

Does it now have both the WOL and WOW (to be able to generate a wake signal from the outside, too?)

How about the SailfishOS port, are you planning to work on it? I'd be possibly willing to contribute to this if the existing code can be used --> Is the GitHub-source current at this moment?

And do you need help with the translations again, in finish, for example? Well yes, seems you have that covered already!
