N900 Camera Issue After Installing "Enhanced Power Kernel"
 
hi! I installed "Enhanced Power Kernel" On My N900 But The Camera Ain't Working Any More!W
hen i open lens cover and choose camera, it says "operation failed".
When i try to use my flashlight, it says" camera in use by another aplication"
HELP ME :confused: :(

trying restarting your phone. im also using Power Kernel but im not having this kind of issue.

Have you by any chance installed BlessN900? I had a similar problem, although I installed it after kernel-power. BlessN900 replaces the camera driver which is incompatible with kernel-power. It is a known problem. See e.g. this thread, which also contains a fix.

noPE I Never installed that App I wanted to use wifi tethering,thats why installed enhanced power kernel..
Now I have cleared the device even! still camera ain't working!

Any other non-stock camera application?
Still might be worth reinstalling the fcam driver as per this post.

noPE no app camera related app intalled

Yeah, I don't know what that URL is about. I referred to the fcam-drivers mentioned in that post.

You may have a different issue. I remember having a similar problem, found that thread, uninstalled BlessN900, rebooted, and voila, the camera started working again.

You could try with fcam drivers,

apt-get install fcam-drivers

Sorry. Had the same issue w/ Bless + Power-Kernel, and uninstalling + battery removal did the job.

Tried It,Installed FC drivers but problem persists
