Which type of phone form-factor do you prefer?

As I have said in the title, which type of phone factor do you prefer?
Is the N900 type slider? Is it N950 type slider? Or is it the box type (iPhone :P)? Maybe curved (N9)?

Whatever it may be, go vote your favourite form factor now!

(This is for statistics purposes, if you don't want to vote you don't have to. If you think this thread is useless you may leave too.)

Any keyboard phone with 5+ screen size would do.

Flip. Flip flip flip flip flip.
Anyone remember the days of the Motorola Razr? The original series, not the current batch of Droids. The V9 Razr2 was my last phone before the N9, and it was a thing of beauty, no two ways about it.

Why leave out clamshell, vertical sliders, candy bar\QWERTY phones? :)

I like N950 like sliders, but I also love gaming phones, like the N-Gage.

Re: Which type of phone form-factor do you prefer?

Can't really tell if I would like the N950 slider since I have never had one in my hands, and you can't really tell from pictures. But I really like the N900 one since it just feels good. Not like the G1 has. That feels like it's going to break when you open it.

The HTC Desire Z keyboard felt really slick too. But a friend of mine broke two. Not sure how safe he was with his phone :)

If it does not have a QWERTY keyboard slider I don't like it honestly. Never had a phone with touchscreen keyboard and hopefully never will.

For me its going to be something like the Gnex but:

5.2inch with little bezel
front stereo speakers
dual mic (on top and bottom)
S Pen slot
Back Camera on bottom
Kickstand protects camera
Metal Kickstand amplifies radio signal
Logo only on back
4 buttons on right side
Phone can be used upside down, is like mirror image

Well the first phone that comes to my thoughts is the nokia n950. But I am not sure if it does have a curved screen.

Personally i hate the fact that people refer to different types of phones as form factors but eh

i personally prefer the landscape sliders but ye olde 5800xm candybar sliders will always have my heart

Re: Which type of phone form-factor do you prefer?

Now, i have recently gone back to using the N97 and E71 after using the N9 for more than an year.

The n97 keyboard is totally useless because its not accessible as fast as an onscreen or onfront keyboard. I hate using the N97 keyboard but love the E71.

The only two form factors a company need are the All screen Candy Bar and 2/3 screen on the same plane as Keyboard.

This exactly what RIM is doing, N & L series with the BB10.
An All screen phone and a 2/3 screen phone with keyboard.

Sliders are not practical.

I loved the form factor of the N97 and the E7, very cool looking, the planned N9 successor would have been SWEET
