iirc that was pre pr 1.1 (or 1.2 ) . And black is much better and battery ( amoled ) friendly .

I prefer white rather than black. Is there any way to make white background on PR 1.3?

Find and change the colours in either the .css files in /usr/share/themes or the backgrounds defined in the images folder for Blanco...

Also I'm unable to tinker or alter via root in Winscp: says: cannot create remote file '/usr/share/......

Hi.. Simply use the app 'Home Screen Setting'. Create a white background photo and use it as a picture for background in Application page... That should meet yr purpose.....

I'm not looking for white back ground picture to make as background but I want white background to replace black in settings application manager etc and also how do I gain access via Winscp into Device to Alter files As of Now I can access via windup but cannot change or alter files

Is it possible to download the old PR.1.1 firmware and then extract it and find the white background images and replace it with PR.1.3?
