I like to share my Transparent Theme.
It's full transparent, so there is same background image all views... :p

What should I tell you? Just install and see.

DON'T FORGET REBOOT OR REFRESH AFTER INSTALL

DOWNLOAD FROM OPENREPOS

OR INSTALL VIA WAREHOUSE

If you don't like, just uninstall.

PS: It's easy to change background images. Just replace original images for your own. Logated: /usr/share/themes/transparent/meegotouch/images/backgrounds/

Wow nice theme I just installed and change default icons but. 3rd party icons are not changing please how to change 3rd party icons.

@Udemzy install Photoshop, launch Photoshop, and start painting new icons. It's easy.

If you want to change my icons to original apps, just copy that apps folder to /usr/share/themes/transparent/meegotouch/icons/

But if you want my icons to 3thr party apps, you need to know icons path and replace old icon...

or copy other apps folder to icons folder and fix all needed .desktop files on /usr/share/applications/
for example billboard-ui.desktop:

thanks for this theme i like it.

noob question though. i cant change the backgrounds. it says "you don't have permissions to proceed" (using filebox) and where do i put the auto wall picture. thank you.

@Coderus thanks I already have the icons just don't know how to apply it to 3rd party apps.

@ MK99 I think there's a little issue in the music player. "Play queue" list its very little and covers only 1/3 of it suppose space.

@Neomarky download HMTsu and root patch for Filebox.. This gives you root privileges & permission to proceed :-)

I'm not on pc now, but if i remember right...
Copy your correct font file to usr/share/fonts/ and then go to usr/share/themes/transparent/constant.ini. There is font line, i have nokia sans, change it to yours. But I'm not sure. Do it by your own risk. ;)

Neat theme. Love seeing development in progress.

Can't look away from this thread. You see, when I saw this, it was intrigued because I thought that it would do something like using the camera to pass through the things being seen and making that the background - then adding a transparent layer to menus and such so that it looked like the activity stream, running apps and apps list floated inside of a shell.

That's not what this is (yes, I know how much fun that would have with battery life). I'm not disappointed, just wanted a bit more.

Sorry for the delay. Tried to fix "dpkg: warning: File reference hash not added", but no luck.

Hello Dude I just wanna say that i did some job to change the background but when am trying to move them via winscp it says error request code 3 so what to do!!!!

Code 3 mean "Permission denied"
You need to do it as root.
You can use N9QTWeak to give root access: tweak H 1

I don't know why it not working for you. For me no problem.

Or do this: Copy your images to /home/user/MyDocs/backgrounds/ And run this on terminal as root:

cp -f /home/user/MyDocs/backgrounds/*.png /usr/share/themes/transparent/meegotouch/images/backgrounds/
Then refresh/reboot.

i have faced this problem before what i did is (i got filebox)
n9qtweak > H > 2 > 1 > y then i used the filebox with root access

The file box root didn't work so i had to remove it and install it two times and after the third attempt it worked thanks alot for you and the author

Very, very nice.

Would it be possible to

1.have the same "animation" as in the Sailfish-theme in the "Close-apps"-view?
2.put some darker color to statusbar, as if it is open for example upon app drawer, its a bit messy.
3.have the keyboard layout also in the style of the Sailfish-theme

Cool, and thanks for the tip.

It seems that the kb that is included in the SF-theme is yet not there. I would guess since I have the SF-theme, that the kb-file is somewhere and it can be moved to right location to have it for use with this theme.

btw, maybe the lockscreen notification could have a background with some opacity to standout from the lockscreen background image?

Also could the "nothing open yet"-text be a bit lighter as it is a bit dark with the dark background?

Yeah!
well, the closing x-thing comes in a pretty nice way from up to down in the sf-theme, and is down-centered, pretty cool :)
