davfs for jolla
 
hi.
i dont find any info about davfs on jolla. i want to sync my pictures and other files with my owncloud. i think it would be the easiest way to rsync with webdav.

caldav and carddav are working with syncevolution. but there is no davfs support, isnt it?

have anyone solved this?

I plan to integrate WebDAV into Cargo Dock filemanager, but not for the next release yet. It will probably be a feature for March.

thank you for answering.

good to know that there are some peoples plans.
there is also ownnotes from khertan. he implements python webdav to place files in owncloud. very good program. but i want an automatic upload of files like pictures or downloads to owncloud when jolla is connected to my wifi. and with davfs its a few bash scripts away i think.

Still no way to use davfs in Jolla terminal or mount ownCloud with Cargo Dock using WebDav?

The next version of Cargo Dock will have WebDAV access and works with OwnCloud.

@pycage: I can't log in to my Owncloud from Cargo Dock.
@nieldk: I'm unable to install davfs2 on Sf 1.1.1.27, it says unmet dependency: libcrypto.so

A missing item from rpm build.
You need also OpenSSL installed.

I just got it to work. Maybe because now I used the default path you provided in the setup utility - first I tried my.server.com and /remote.php/webdav

What's the local mount point that Cargo dock uses for the Owncloud webdav share? Can I now rsync stuff to it?

See my answer to your question in the Cargo Dock thread. Unfortunately, rsync can not be used with it.
