Android KitKat on the N9

Hi all,
So I recently found out about the new improvements to KitKat in Android 4.4. After using Nitdroid in the N9 for quite a while, I can say that the benchmark scores are miserable (Antutu Scores near 9000. To put that in perspective, the old HTC One scores above 20 thousand (Near 21 I think), and the Newly released SGS5 scores 36000.) I know that 4.4 is designed to enable more devices to upgrade, so wouldn't it be a better step to jump directly to android KitKit instead of working on Jelly Bean?

Maybe something to bring up with e-yes?

Maybe something to post in the nitdroid forum :p
(or android subforum, or N9 section)

I suggest that you buy an Android device ;P
Or, ask (like suggested) in Nitdroids forum.
I hardly think you will see performance increase though.

kitkat has a lot of performance improvements for slower devices. So it could work better then jelly bean...

Was looking on there a while ago and found that e-yes had already begun working on it. No need now :)

I don't think KitKat able to improve scores in synthetic tests (like Antutu), but only for some particular user scenarios. For example, increase UI responsiveness etc (like project "Butter" do).

P.S. Temporary back to 4.1.2 bugfixing/improvement due to lot of new issues in JB >4.2 (and KK as well)

Making a smoother UI would be a welcome change from the lagginess of the current Alpha 5 and 4.
