Camera phone competition May 2014: "Wild nature"
This month is all about nature.
Here's what n900hacker said: "I think that 'wild nature' can be a good theme for the next camera phone competition. Everything wild, like trees, falls, rain, leaves, bushes and forests is accepted. I choose this theme because i think that we're always taking photos of man-made only subjects, so nature can be a good challenge for everyone!" I think that's about enough. The rules: Photos must be taken during this month. Photos must be taken by the posting member. Photos must be taken with a camera phone. Users must name the phone used to shoot the picture. Users must add a link to the original photo with EXIF. Users can change the entry only once. Last three days of this month are for voting. I don't think there could be a better theme for May. It's very sunny now, can't wait for the school to end! :D |
Re: Camera phone competition May 2014: "Wild nature"
Excellent topic. It means I do not have to participate as this is pretty much the topic I would have chosen if I won :)

Well, if I have to...
Here is my submission. Not very exciting - no wild animals in it, but I like it. A small wood near where I live, covered in bluebells. There are precious few wild places in England to start with and even fewer that are accessible to Joe Public. Taken yesterday (3 May 2014) with my N900, no pre- or post-processing. Attachment 35146 |

Re: Camera phone competition May 2014: "Wild nature"
lovely photo, pichlo :D

Re: Camera phone competition May 2014: "Wild nature"
Lovely photo indeed. Nice composition, that fallen tree is a great example of a line that leads you through the picture. Also a nice balance between the foreground and the background, that is again sort of divided by that fallen tree. Well done pichlo!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. But please, I do not want to win by default. Other entries, please! :)

Re: Camera phone competition May 2014: "Wild nature"
Indeed. But it is just the 6th of May..... usually we wait until the last moment :-)
Whatever, it was a very good submission, in spite of your English diffidence. |

Re: Camera phone competition May 2014: "Wild nature"
I was walking around yesterday evening and I took a couple of photos of the sunset/forest/lake. I Didn't know there was a competition so I was lucky to take some photos. And a competition isn't a competition with just one entry. So here's my entry:

#3 kapu2. A wonderful example of serendipity.
BTW, loading this page in the Maemo browser has has rebooted my N900. As it has so many times before. I should learn to avoid these threads on a voting day :) |
