Well, it's a part of glacier ui, which we worked on as new nemomobile homescreen and apps framework. Locusf made some very nice improvements lately with implementing it.

Tried it.
Not sure why, but the icons are some of them not showing for me.
But, as locusf says, this is heavy alpha.....

nieldk, maybe you can showcase the glacier-ui components app in your video too. I guess our maliit vkb doesn't get pulled in, so the VKB shouldn't be glacierised unfortunately.

I released a newer version which fixes some visual issues with gridview for apps and apps view too. Version is 0.10 and its available both nemo-ux repo and in openrepos.

That homescreen concept is done by qwazix with first ideas from hurrian. Statusbar ideas were from sandy_locke. Locusf is implementing it atm. It's a team effort. Old lockscreen was done by me, but that one will be redone too.


@shmerl, well, as you can see it progresses slowly.

0.11 Notifications screen and environment variables are now fixed.

This version is now available in OpenRepos, you can find the packages there.

I give some advices, don't put in folders: terminal, settings and a file manager, they can be necessary to go back to stock, when they are in folders, they are unavailable in Glacier, more, set USB connection to developer as default.
