Nokia N9 direct battery charger?
 
The usb port is broken, yet again, on my N9. I have about 4% battery life left. I was wondering if it's possible to purchase a direct BV-5JW battery charger.

Are you really planning on opening up the phone to get the battery out every time you want to charge it directly?

I reckon you should try getting the USB port fixed again or try the wireless charging mod http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=84916

I need to charge it once so I can transfer everything onto my PC. I think it's time to move on from the N9. It's been a love-relationship with this phone; it's the best and the worst phone I've ever had.

Why don't you get a universal one. A link and an excellent review here. I bought one based on that review and can sincerelly vouch for it.

Are these compatible with the Nokia N9 (BV-5JW) battery? I don't see how the cable from the battery would fit into these chargers?

So, there is no way to externally charge the Nokia N9 battery. I guess I'll have to get the USB port repaired then.

why not connect directly to the phone the voltage the battery is suppose to give ?
