Hi! (my first post on this forum, can someone also tell me, why I can't pm anyone oO)

I might be interested, but I got 2 questions :D.

If it's not a big secret, how comes you can get it cheaper than on jolla official site, I am really curious.

How will warranty look in case if phone will stop working after (for example)few months? If I get it right, it's "second hand" phone that you are selling? So I will need to stay in contact with you in case of warranty, right?

Thanks for answers :).

Yes, it's used. I paid €400 for it. According to the documentation, my warranty was only valid in Finland. It is out of warranty now but I've never had any problems with the hardware. It's a solid device.

@coderus, you are two weeks late. Or do they have Orthodox Santa in Finland too?

@Marandos, you need to have a certain minimum number of posts under your belt (5, IIRC) to deserve the right to PM someone. This is an anti-spam measure, though I am not sure how effective.

@maluka, if you are one of the "first ones" then the phone is past the warranty anyway.

Does your free shipping apply to Finland only or does it extend to the UK too? It is really tempting. Please let me know if nothing comes out of the deal with coderus (unlikely, if I know him right).

I believe this is incorrect. AFAIK, in the EU, all customers have the right to minimum of 2 years of warranty. I would be quite mad if it was just one year :)

Re: Jolla €170 + free shipping

I stand corrected. I thought the two years apply only to electrical goods, which a phone may or may not be, depending on how good your lawyer is.

Jolla's own warranty policy mentions (repeatedly) only one year.

BTW, do the 'privileges' of e.g. being among the first ones to receive newer SailfishOS upgrades pass to the new owner?
How does it work, is it linked to the phone IMEI or the Jolla user account?
