Can't install developer mode and anything else AT ALL
 

Hi.
I'm studying this forum and Internet for 3 days.
This post is my last chance.
(sorry my english)

I have bought used N9 one week ago.
I didn't have developer mode installed.
Nokia store is not working (this is normal now)
Musik store works, but I can't download any song ("free" button leads to "unable to download, you have not been charched") mayby Nokia dosen't support it for MeeGo.

I try to use developer mode.
I had massage that it can't connect to host (now I have different)
I tryed it may times.
I was changing the network.
I was fixing IP and DNS IP
I was using 3G
nothing.
Today I went on flashing the phone
The only difference is that now it says it can't find the package.
I downloaded developer-mode_1.48+0m6_armel.deb and copied to N9 main folder (as I see it in windows explorer of N9 as mass storage)
nothing...

What else can I do?
This are my first steps with this phone, and with anything that relates to Linux :) so if U say what to do please add how to do as well :)

i have the exact same problem, cant connect to the store at all.
developer mode download starts up, and then says download failed...
i hope we get an answer soon!

Hi Luckymag, the reason is because Nokia's repositories wen offline some days ago, but don't worry, there is always a way:

Try N9RepoMirror on Warehouse to install the Developer Mode ;)

I have flashed My N9 for My daughter and now, I cannot install anything on warehouse!
Any suggestions?

I have found this also. But when I try to install it there is no icon and nothing actually changed.
In Warehouse I tried to install Sailfish theme and itz is not there but in Warehouse is just option uninstall.

EDIT: Now I installed old version 0.6.0 and now its OK :)

Here's what worked in my case:

1 settings > applications > installations > allow installations from non-store sources
2 set up internet access
3 download & install myExplorer using default browser
4 download & install N9 RepoMirror (0.6.0, not the 0.7.2!) using default browser
5 in myExplorer go to /etc/apt/sorces.list.d and copy aegis.ssu-keyring-XXX.list to /home/user/MyDocs, where XXX is a number depending on your version code. there were two in my device: 001 (you leave this one, as it's already 0kb) and 340 (the one to edit) make sure you already have n9repomirror.list file inside this folder
6 connect to PC in USB mode, delete all contents of the file and save (has to be 0kb)
7 disconnect USB and copy the modified file back to /etc/apt/sorces.list.d when asked to overwrite, select Yes to All (this is the magic trick, which enabled root access)
8 reboot

enable Developer Mode while connected to the internet, it should now connect & download ~2,2 mb of additional required data

# prosper it's not work for me, when i copy the modified file back to /etc/apt/sorces.list.d when asked to overwrite, select Yes to All , it's say: "access denied"

i can't install N9 RepoMirror 0.7.2 and i can't overwrite aegis.ssu-keyring-XXX.list because it's say: ""access denied"
what should i do ??

N9 RepoMirror 0.7.2 does not work. Install version .6
