[JollaTablet] What Jolla Phone applications you want to be ported to Tablet?

Please respond only people, who already received their Jolla Tablet.

Tell which SailfishOS application you want to be ported from Jolla Phone to Jolla Tablet. Only existing SailfishOS application, not Android or any other platform. You can request also to port generic linux console tools and libraries, only if it already was compiled for Jolla Phone.

If you do not own Jolla Tablet or app you want to be ported doesn't exists on Jolla Phone please do not respond in this thread and write here instead: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=95847

3. Warehouse
4. openvpn
5. qgvdial

Well I use mostly Tweetian, FBReader, OwnCloud, Cutespotify, Tabatimer..

Sometimes also Whatsup or Mitakuuluu3 but those are not working at the moment on the phone even.

And Modrana works already on the tablet. And a picture was asked for http://imgur.com/gallery/WWWNCvh

ModRana should already work on the Jolla Tablet - the package is architecture independent and I know modRana works fine on hi-DPI Android devices. The latest package for Sailfish OS is here:

https://openrepos.net/sites/default/...1.1.noarch.rpm

So who will be the first to confirm if modRana works on the Jolla tablet or not ? :D (Plus points for photos of the Jolla tablet running modRana! ;) )

If you do so, require to add a URL to the Jolla Phone package in warehouse.
That might help to get a list of existing apps to port and not a general wishlist of anything that people would like to have on the tablet.

Yes, everyone please note, this thread is tightly managed! However, for us brainless folks who perhaps live in the majority of the world where the Jolla Phone has not been and will never be sold, we can instead use this thread to request porting of apps to the tablet:

What apps do you want to see on Sailfish? Part II

Just a small reminder from a brainless man. Thanks. ;)

it contains no binaries, so no idea why author packaged is as arm, and not used noarch.

Interesting nothing in there about pulling an anthy dependency? anthy is an input engine that gets installed, that could be why. http://anthy.osdn.jp/ anthy itself should be easy to just recompile I would think.

Lighthouse needs a little work. There's no battery info at all, and the cpu temp reads 29000 :). It shows all four cores though, and the process view works fine, if a bit strange of layout.

I've installed poor maps, but the map tiles stay white, I tried a couple off the maps kinds but none of them loaded. I will try them all later today. The rest off the app seemed to work ok.

Edit: tried and reinstalled again and it works! Nice!

Re: [JollaTablet] What Jolla Phone applications you want to be ported to Tablet?

I have been compiling apps with SFOS IDE to Jolla Tablet.

So far I have successfully build and tested:
Owncloud
YTPlayer (please, get rid of cellular network options)
OcNews
HaveClip
Tweetian
USB Switch
Code Reader (needs a bit UI redesing, bottom main page is not scaling well to the screen size)

Oh... this tread were the opposite :o so here is my wishlist to be ported or selfport:
IP address
TinyEdit
Saera

Midnight Commander

I have tried going it alone-
I have just installed the Sailfish SDK on my Linux PC, It runs, so I can compile, but I have no idea (and sadly no skills) where to get any code to port - still looking and trying to learn.

Thanks Coderus, I download the mc.rpm but if failed with dependencies. perl, python and libslang.so.2. I did download wget though which works fine so I must be doing something right.

You can just add repo and use pkcon install mc
