[Give Away]Two Asha Prototypes RM-919 & RM-922

Two Nokia ASHA (They pronounce as Mr. Nincomp00p in Mandarin Chinese...) prototypes which I bought from a junk market last year somewhere... are free to go away. If you are interested in the pre-release SW or OS please feel free to leave a comment here.

RM-919 - Features a blue camera stripe on the back, a different looking of back key. Lots of scratches on the screen. Single sim

RM-922 - Mint condition, black, looks like new. Dual sim. Also has a different back key.

They are both prototype F1 and matte finish.

They did not have battery. So you need to buy one yourself to be able to use it. They are removable and should be quite easy to find on eBay. (I never switched on...)

Bought for the curiosity of prototype OS, but feel not worth spending extra buying battery. So I will send it away rather than throwing to the bin...

Hi,
Would be very interested in RM-922 as can never get dual sim devices easily in UK. Have an Asha 501 which probably same battery, so let me know if you would like contribution for postage via PayPal.

I'll see if I have a spare envelope and stamps, I can send via ordinary mail right away. Wouldn't be expensive anyway, don't bother to get PayPal for two quids. :) Please PM me your address.

Many thanks RM-922 arrived safely today, although unfortunately fitting a battery did not elicit any response from device. Shall have to try FBUS accessibility in absence of USB connectivity when time allows!

Guess that it would be BL-4U.

No it's too short for a BL-4U.

The battery hole is almost a square:
40mm x 45mm
(the 45 mm side has the connector pins)

Edit:
BP-6MT comes more close to it, but it's not the actual battery :(

1 Attachment(s)
The N900 battery connectors are fitting in the phone (it's too long to close the phone cover) but it's at least alive.....

But then the next surprise:

Lock code :D

I've already tried the 12345, didn't work :(

The batteries on 2 devices are different. Sorry can't help for the lock code. :(

Ok, time to hunt then.
After inputting a wrong lock code 5 times, the phone says Waitn1 minute, after you made another wrong input, it says wait 2 minutes.
The good thing is: When you pull out the battery, the timer resets itself. So yes, I have 100000 combinations to try...... :D

Then it's time to build something like this:

99995, surely. You've already tried 5 ;)

How do you know it's 5 digits? Have you tried 4?

I have some kind of asha device, and it's definitely 5 on that one. It won't let you set anything less

just like tommo said few posts back, there is no OK button, and you have to enter 5 digits to make it accept it (it auto accepts the input after 5 digits)
