Hi,
I have exactly the same problem, I just took N9 from cupboard after few years. It wasn't booting so I tried reflash just like in "old days" but I can't. Did you manage to solve the issue?

Whilst probably of no help to you, you have probably already seen this resource from author with impeccable credentials:

Just for interest are you flashing with windows or linux, 32 or 64bit and what kind of usb port?

I guess you have the right firmware variant for your device. Have you tried cold flashing the device?
I would try boot the rescue image and check the partitions from your N9 or make them new.

Repartitioning
Rescue

You could also try my rescue live image (see signature).

Just read following threads:

N9 Cannot be flashed........is it dead

Nokia N9 Failed to flash (this one is different some cmt issue)
Problems flashing Nokia N9 with Linux

Hi
thanks for response, I'm using now Ubuntu 18.04 x84_64 and I'm using exactly the same image as I was using long time before. Only difference is that in that time I was using 64 bit Fedora.
I tried with different USB cables, computers and even with old virtual Ubuntu 12.04 and flashing always fails in the same manner.

I did boot to maintanance ubiboot from here http://www.swagman.org/juice/ubiboot...3.5_301013.tar

But unfortunately I always get I/O error on /dev/mmcblk0
Code:

(parted) select /dev/mmcblk0
Using /dev/mmcblk0
