Google hangouts
Kinda weird problem here. Using migroG I am able to use Google hangouts with one of my two Google accounts. However when switch to the other Google account it complains "Coudn't connect to the server".
What can cause it? I tried going over the accounts and they looked similar. Edit: The working account is based on an email address that is not hosted at Google. The non-working account is based on an email address / domain that is hosted at Google. It is also managed by a parent organization. |
Re: Google hangouts
I have the same problem if I try to add a second account and found no solution so far. I would implement a native app but the API is not open... :(

Re: Google hangouts
I tried the non-funtional login as the first login too, after clean sailfish + microg install. Still no luck. Anyone have ideas?

Re: Google hangouts
google has stated for more than the last year that hangouts was to be incorporated into its extensions and hangouts as we know it are going to be disabled by October .
So it makes sense you are starting to have issues with hangouts. |
Re: Google hangouts
Hangouts replacement "Hangouts Chat" seems to have an accessible API. Maybe someone will kindly make a plugin / client for SFOS as well.

Re: Google hangouts
Btw i tried putting that non-google email address based login as second login and of course it worked :) Have no clue as to why the google based one does not.
