Can someone please tell me what "Python2.4 Runtime" is and what is it good for?

Python is a programming language, and if you want to write or run programs written in this language, you need the runtime (which translates python to machine instructions that are executed by the ARM processor).

For example, there is an editor, pygtkeditor, written in python, and designed to help the user write programs in python.

Nice! Thank you. I installed it, but I don't need it - how can I remove it? Where does it save to?

Menu>Tools>App manager>Show installed app, hi light the one you want to remove and click Uninstall
