Email LED Notification not working as it should
On my N900s when receiving an email the LED stops blinking as soon as the display changes from blank to on. So when the device is not locked and the display is blank the led starts blinking but stops because the display is unblanked and so on, ... the result is no led blinking.
In other cases of notification (call, sms) the led will not stop until tapping on the hint in the task switcher. I found out when starting the led manually by Code:
dbus-send --system --type=method_call --dest=com.nokia.mce /com/nokia/mce/request com.nokia.mce.request.req_led_pattern_activate string:"PatternCommunicationIM" Is there a work around for the led not blinking when the display is just blanked? I could not find a dbus signal for receiving email to start the led by command. Is there such a signal? |
