Sailfish on N9 in /home/sailfish
Hello
I want to install Sailfish on my N9, but not on extra partition, but in /home/sailfish. Like NITdroid. I just don't want to combine partitions etc., want to just test SFOS in safe location and safe way Is it possible? |

Don't want to discourage you but seems a lot of work for little reward as here: https://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?...37&postcount=6

Hmm, maybe... This is why I didn't want to create extra partition etc, just was scared that it can brick my N9 :)

Re: Sailfish on N9 in /home/sailfish
Which alternative OS for N9 is most stable? NITdroid? Or Nemo?

Re: Sailfish on N9 in /home/sailfish
All are outdated as well as the host OS.
So no joy except the joy of tinkering with the beauty! :D |

Re: Sailfish on N9 in /home/sailfish
Today, I managed to install Sailfish with pre-configured Ubiboot.
I see it works quite good on N9 :D But it works well only with preconfigured Ubiboot. I modified the plain Ubiboot to work with my partiitons - partition 6, bzImage etc. But when I boot it from plain Ubiboot, it boots but touch isn't working, it's just impossible to control. When I replace ubiboot.conf with the preconfigured for Sailfish - SFos work normally. How to configure the plain ubiboot.conf to work well with Sailfish? Greetings :) |
