On N900 it's definitely not best idea. You lose time for manual partitioning, setting up everything, and in the end any SD card will be faster ;)

There was a dev battle on Leste irc about which is faster. So happy I was able to follow it. Very interesting. I was left unsure cause the subject was above my paygrade.

How about RAID 0 setup with eMMC and SD-card for boost performance? ;)

Yeah that would be a nice trick to try. Just tried it on mac but could not succeed.

I recently again booted my N900 which was collecting dust in my drawer.
Any how-to guides to try Maemo Leste ?

Using a good -and fast- uSDcard is the only option to try Leste on N900 at the moment.

Thanks for the links. I will have to purchase a SDCard then. Its been more than a year since I have last used any SDCard's.
