Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset????

Greetings:

I have managed to pair my Motorola BlueTooth HeadSet with the N800.

But may I ask how do I make my N800 send sound to my Headset.

I searched all over the N800, I couldn't find a way.

I would like to:

A) make a call with Skype using my HeadSet

B) listen to Internet Radio from my HeadSet.

Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to do this.

Regards Robert

For listening to internet radio using your Motorola Bluetooth headphones, go to this site and peruse it carefully from the beginning.

Thanks Asherjim:

But this procedure is too technical for me.
I am not a linux programer.

Isn't there a maemo software that one can install and then the headset will work.

A simple program, I don't know much about Linux programing.

Robert: You don't have to be a Linux "programmer." When I first bought my 770 a few years ago I knew absolutely nothing about working with Linux. But the fact that the Nokia tablets are based on Linux fascinated me, and I had a great deal of enjoyment in finding my way around fairly quickly Even though there are of course excellent books on Linux, my main source of getting my Nokia tablets to work for me was this forum. You shouldn't be afraid to jump in. The site I referred you to begins with very excellent and clear instructions in installing "a2dp" by Milhouse. Then Sachin provides a way to listen to internet radio with Bluetooth headphones by employing a2dp and Kagu and xterm. It's not too steep a learning curve, and it provides great fun, and you have the forum to fall back on, with many members who started out with no more experience than you have now. Go for it! Good luck.

I believe that Bluez Audio (different from a2dpd) will be available in the near future, I think with the chinook release:

https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474#c11

That should allow audio to be pushed to bluetooth headsets a bit more seamlessly. It also looks like Nokia is pushing the development of those profiles with the Bluez team, which is good news for everybody - as it appears that they're trying to do things the right way.
