retrieving pidgin archive
I set pidgin on my 770 to log my chats. I used xterm to navigate the system so I could find the folder with the archives, copy it to a visible place in "documents" and back it up to an MMC card so I can save it on my desktop... anyone know where I need to go so I can do that? Time is of the essence for me as I am selling my 770 and want to get important data off before I reflash it...

AdonusX, try
/home/user/.purple |
Re: retrieving pidgin archive
do I go there in xterm or can I navigate there in the file manager? I believe I tried that before and it didn't work, but I have no problem trying it again, just to see if I messed something up on my end...

Re: retrieving pidgin archive
doing that was a no go... I tried "cd .purple" and "cd /home/user/.purple" and both got me nothing...

Re: retrieving pidgin archive
trying to clone the os to an mmc card now, but I am getting stuck in a part of the instructions...
http://maemo.org/community/wiki/HowT..._your_MMC_card "apt-get install e2fsprogs" refuses to install... I seem to be having dependancy errors and sometimes it just won't connect to the repos listed... not sure what to do from this point... |
