N800 Pricing

So I'm planning on getting an N800 very soon, but don't know if I should wait until after the launch of the N810. Does anyone think there will be any likelyhood of significant N800 deals for less than $230(buy.com) within the month?

I really don't think you'll see it drop further with the n810 launch. Considering the new OS update will be available for the n800 at the same time, and the units are so similar, I wouldn't be suprised to see the price even creep up a little. At $230 the n800 is a bargain and I think the n810 launch will give the n800 some more attention. Of course I could be wrong. :)

Yes! Come join us. I agree with Moonshine. I sure am enjoying the N800. I watched the price go up and down on buy.com for a week. Finally I decided that if / when the price went back to $229 that I was going to buy. No regrets at all. It's with me all the time. If the price does go up or down I don't think it'll be by much.

I was thinking the same thing; pre-purchase jitters I guess. May as well welcome me to the community because I'm more than likely going to be purchasing this over the weekend (very excited!).
Thanks for responding!

Now I need to figure which accessories I'm going to need. I'll probably pick up a 2-4gig sd card and a cheap PSP case to begin with. Any suggestions? Screen protectors?

Screen protectors definitely. I like getting extra chargers. I keep one at home near my main computer and one in my desk drawer at my office. Also like to keep a dc charger (car) handy too. You just never know! But definitely screen protectors. I wish there was a hard shell case for the 800 like there is for the 770, but I settled for a silicone (?) case which I haven't received yet. I bought my 800 on buy.com; placed the order on Saturday night and received it at my office yesterday (Friday).

Also, you can use 8 gig SDHC cards if you want, the N800 is SDHC compatible.

I think I'll be getting (at least) one of these. $45 for an 8gig SDHC seems too good a deal to pass up, unless anyone can tell me otherwise.

Where do you get these accessories? I'd like an extra N800 charger, and a car charger as well.

Have a look at dealextreme.com. I just received a car charger that cost 4 and a half dollar shipped. There are a lot of chargers there.
