Email and spam filter

I'm thinking of getting an Internet Tablet (either N800 or N810) to use with my main email, but I get several hundred spam a day. I haven't been able to find any information about spam filtering. Ideally, I'd like to run Thunderbird, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. Are there any strategies for handling spam on an IT?

You could forward your email to Gmail (or set up Gmail to pick up from your existing POP email) and let Gmail do the spam filtering for you.

thats what I do, it allows me to send 4 email accounts to 1 and then filter spam and with the 4 gb of space i also get to keep a copy on the server for backup perposes.

Whether it's gmail or some other service, I highly recommend doing server-side spam filtering over client-side spam filtering.

(and that's what I do; but I also run my own mail servers, both at work and at home)

How do you run server side filtering....you mean go to www.gmail.com and filter from there?
