Blank Web Page loading
 

Hi, My N800 just started loading a blank webpage when I turn it on. Is there anyway to stop this. It hasn't done this before.

I'm confused, when you turn the unit on does a web browser automatically launch and there's a blank page there? Or when you open the web browser there's a blank page there? And opposed to the tableteer.com site or something?

When I turn the unit on a blank page automatically loads. I haven't opened a browser. It just started doing this. the only think I do is turn it on.

Do you mean the screen is completely white, with no icons or text or anything else?

Hi Krisse, Thanks for replying. The blank page problem has gone away. What was happening was when I turned on my N800 it opened a blank page. Today it's not doing it. Newbie problems!

That's great, computers are sometimes a bit eccentric like that. Turning them off and on again often makes problems go away.

If this comes back though, please do post about it on here, this forum is intended for newbies.

I have had a similar problem. I figured it was heat related since it only started after I left it in the car during the day, but it could also be something in Diablo.

I had to remove the battery and let it sit for a while other wise not amount of rebooting it would allow the full boot.

It will show the initial nokia screen, go to the hand screen, and then white. The progress bar at the bottom of the nokia screen never showed. Very odd. It kind of reminds me of when I bring a notebook out of suspend.

I have also had the loading web browser problem. This has all just started since installing diablo.
