File, clear, etc

Does anybody know where I can get a copy of base term tools like "file" and "clear"?

"clear" I think that's in ncurses-bin package.
And "file" is in file package ;)

They are in the SDK repository.

Works for me in OS2008 and N800.

Try it disabling other repositories. Leaving only activated the SDK.

It could be that there is some repository with ncurses-bin different version and want to install this version, and that gives problems.

Encountered the same error mentioned in the thread when i tried installing ncurses-bin , will try to by disabling other repos
