Wrist band

searched, did not find
Does anyone make a wrist band for the N810?
I'm thinking of a gnarly harley type two strap which will let me access the keyboard and have a protective leather flap.

Re: Wrist band

I am trying to imagine where you would a wrist strap unless you want the n810 to begin with. I don't see the advantages of the n810 over the n800 right know except its "newer". Using a wrist strap and typing is hard to imagine unless you have the keyboard folded away. On the n800 I wrap my fingers around the stand and thumb type and that acts like a strap.

Re: Wrist band

Since I now have the n810 I know it would fit easily on my right wrist/forearm and with the keyboard slid out allow me to type easily with my left hand (I'm left handed).
As far as the advantages -
For about $150 more than the 800 I got GPS which I really want, and a keyboard which I had to have.
GPS and BT keyboard would cost about the same.

Re: Wrist band

Plus you get to loose 2 full size SDHC slots in favor of a mini-SDHC :p

Edit: in case anyone failed to recognize it, that was sarcasm.

Try a roll of Saranwrap... two times around the wrist and ya got it!

Its see-through and will protect the screen from scratches!

Just my 2¢...

BTW... if the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body... then "left handers" must be in their "right mind" !!

Re: Wrist band

Folding your brand new N810 like origami is not recomended!

Re: Wrist band

Thinking about this a bit more, you could probably modify the car mount to a big gnarley wrist band. That will still allow use of the keyboard.

@jheather, I'm not understanding your post.
