Facebook problems in n800 browser
 

hi, im trying to write and send messages in facebook with my n8oo, but after writing the message, and when i click send, nothing happens, i dont know whats the problem, maybe its the browser, can anyone help me?

Are you using the iPhone site, the full blown one or the mobile one? Using Opera or microb

The problem you describe sounds like exactly the problem I had using the iPhone one on either Opera or microb; but I've not had a problem with the full-blown site (not sure I've sent a message or not, TBH)

i had EXACTLY the same problem... what i did was to leave the "long bar" where it was after your last word instead of going to the next line. you should also try using the iphone version in the microB browser and not the opera one.

hi guys, really didnt understand a thing you told me
i use the browser that comes with the n800 and try to post a message in the regular facebook, but when i click send nothing happens.
as you can see im a really newbie :)

Thank you soooo much for that 'solution'!!!
I have a very pregnant wife who has had a few "melt downs" because her messages wouldn't 'send' recently in full Facebook. I just tried using the 'iphone.facebook' link address you gave and gosh it works very well. Classic mobile streamlined, nice. Even has a few nice 'transitions', like between pages etc.

Facebook used to work o.k. until fairly recent, from my experience.
I guess the senior member 'aflegg', chose a good 'work around' with the web address iphone.facebook.com to go to instead. Rather than trying to figure out what might be going wrong with the larger main Facebook site. Probably a big task to sort out.

I just tried the streamlined iphone one, and frankly it's very pleasant.

Actually, I tried the iphone.facebook.com site when it launched to see what it was like over a slow connection; and haven't used Facebook much at all recently.
