Not impressed with the brushed aluminum. Already scratched!!!
What is the deal with the metal battery cover? I have had it a day now, and the battery cover is already scratched? The brushed whatever sucks royally! Now if I ever want to sell it, I have to get a new battery cover.

It must be manufacturing or material defect. Battery cover in N770 is in black and still in excellent condition. Darius |

Whether you wish to sell or keep, and whether the device still works is irrelevant. To say otherwise and to denigrate your experience is just fanboyism. |

Nokia must be using the same material Apple used in their Ipod screens.
(Sorry, someone said 'fan boy') :D |

Re: Not impressed with the brushed aluminum. Already scratched!!!
I have had mine since NOV 17 and as always with nokia. The sliding part scratched the top left corner of the menu key. I probably can exchange it but it is just a little scratch and I'm used to it with my N95
:) Just love NOKIA soo much I cannot ***** about anything they do :) |

iPhone, iPod touch are both touch screen and work excellent. 5 years ago bought 3G Nec e616v, 2 years ago bought 3G Motorola A1000 with gps. Nokia is ok, but competitors work harder and offer better models, more features at much lower prices. Look at Samsung , at Samsung Wimax, already on a market. European manufacturers are still some years behind manufacturers from Asia. And look at overpriced N95 8GB at $1000. Nokia should cut prices by half. You can buy N810 at $500 and a new laptop with wifi at $500 in US. Nokia charges in EU for its products double price it charges for the same products in US. $1000 for N95 8GB is hard to believe.
