Downloading Wayfinder Maps
Is there ANY alternatives to the glacial and frustrating option of downloading 100's of mg of maps through a wireless tablet connection?

I don't have a N810, but I think you can download the maps with an external pc, with faster internet access, and then transfer it to a sd card and put it on the N810.

Re: Downloading Wayfinder Maps
I simply started the download before I went to bed with the power adaptor plugged in...
...700+MB loaded when I got up. I prefer Maemo Mapper (if I can get the GPS working) as all the routing options cost extra. |
Re: Downloading Wayfinder Maps
One advantage to Wayfinder is that an Internet connection (wifi or bluetooth tether) shouldn't be necessary to use it.
Unless you want to use it for routing... |
