N810--GPRS or Data call for phone internet?

Both of these settings seem to work with my Sprint A900. Anyone know the difference?

Hello, data call is like calling a service provider (dialup) or dialing into a RAS. GPRS is your phone service provider data plan. I am curious what are you setting up under GPRS that works. I have a sprint treo 755p (palm). What do you enter for user name and password? I've read everywhere and they are all saying different things and none of them works. Phone provided by my work place, it has unlimited data plan.

I have always left the username and password blank, that has worked on the 770, 800, and now 810.
