App packages to update: libglade2-0 (1:2.6.2-1indt1)
App Packages Missing: libglade2-0 (=1:2.4.0-1osso2)

yet in my installed apps it IS there. how can i solve this problem???

Looks like it's missing the library to show a glade interface. Of course I don't know how to install it. Here's some info: http://freshmeat.net/projects/libglade/

I'm going to give this a go tomorrow, hopefully.

go to command line as root

and type

apt-get update

then

apt-get upgrade

does it say libglade2-0 is being held back ? mine did that as well, I had to install it manually with

apt-get install libglade2-0 (I think thats the name of it)

yep , xmaeme and fceu work great after using the above method. one note , you do have to be root and be in red pill mode to do this.

Re: Xmaeme on os 2008

I've never used red pill mode, I just use root from either gain root or openssh-server and openssh-client

for those that have the installation file corruption problem just simply go to garage.maemo.org and download the .deb file. i had the same problem and everything works fine now.
