OS2008 Bug reports

Is there a place to submit bug reports about the newest beta of 2008 for the n800? I have a few with the OSK and messenger client.

bugs.maemo.org

Just be sure to search existing bug reports there before writing a new one.

Re: OS2008 Bug reports

Both the finger keyboard sending **** instead of the actual chars, as well as it not clearing the input buffer on the IM client are logged already. Yay. The one other thing isn't really a bug, but the sensing of stylus vs finger is rather off. I nearly always have to use the middle button. I don't know if this is a limit of technology or what.

Hope I can help make this device even more phenomenal than it already is.

Re: OS2008 Bug reports

2007 was better in my experience to detect a finger compared to 2008b, i too have to use the center button.

Also the xterm is pretty buggy by default:

- no interesting fun to zoom out enough
- can't remember my toolbar view settings
- pops a completion bar when i type with a BT keyboard (maybe this can be disabled somewhere ?)

which "center" button are you refering to. it almost never senses my finger for input anymore...

On the d-pad.

Is this something that is a bug? Maybe the 810 is more sensitive or uses a different type of touch screen? In terms of coding for it?
