for some reason pidgn killed my flash or java capabilities on my browser, just a heads up, or maybe i was just ignorant of something

Pidgin can't do that. The tablet never had Java capabilities. If Flash isn't working, check the Magnifying glass icon in the bottom right of the browser and check that the Flash component is enabled.

yeah, i know, but after i installed pidgin i couldnt use youtube, and after i removed it i could,
btw, i'm on a n810, in case thats relavent

Pidgin (and Gaim before it) are great on my other systems but on the 2008 port the GroupWise protocol crashes whenever a message is recieved. Not sure if thats new to the 810 or not. My 770 was never without the wod problem long enough for me to try it on '06.
