os 2008 BUILT IN PDF READER
 
I tried to use this PDF READER to browse some pdf files written in Chinese fonts, but it displayed *******. I already have Chinese font displayed well on browser.

Could anybody tell me how ?

I know that in Adobe reader you must install additional Font Packs to display documents with Asian caracters, so I assume you need to do the same, except I'm not sure if such additional font packs are available for the included pdf reader.

pdf文件分为内嵌字体和不内嵌字体的，只能看内嵌字体的。
如果PDF文件是你自己转换的，需要设置内嵌字体（文件会增大）。
否则可能会显示乱码。
如果pdf文件不是你制作的，没有好的解决办法。
