Browsing multiple windows
 

Hey,

Im new here and did a couple searches but couldn't seem to bring up the asnwers I was looking for.

I was using pidgin last night to IM people and I was listening to some video's off of youtube but when I minamize youtube the music stops any way to make it so that it keeps playing?

It's not the kind of thing I have tried. It might be that the audio stops anytime the browser loses the focus, but maybe not.... Do you have to minimize the browser (YouTube) first, or can you just open Pidgin on top of it instead?

OK, I've just tried You Tube at the same time as listening to Media Player. Both continued to give me (blended) audio no matter what combination I tried of having the windows in the foreground/background/minimized/maximized. This is on OS2008 using the MicroB browser.

So the problem you are seeing may be specific to your apps... maybe it is Pidgin, or maybe you are running Opera/OS2007? Whatever it is, I wasn't able to duplicate the problem on my N800.

I guess ill load up OS2008 Today and see if the problem goes away. Thanks technut for the help.
