Newbie Question Re: Media Player Library
Hi,
I've been following this board for quite some time and just picked up the N810 from Compusa (marked down due to liquidation sale). I have been using the media player this morning and have not been able to get it to recognize the music files on my microsd card. I can use the menu and open the files manually so the device is reading the card but the library can't find them. Do I need to have my media files in a particular folder? I am using the card that was formatted for my N95 so they are under sounds/external. Thanks for any help Don |
Re: Newbie Question Re: Media Player Library
How much is the price in compusa??
Install any of the third party softwares like ukmp, media center or kaju. They are better. |
Re: Newbie Question Re: Media Player Library
It was 20% off. Knocked off 94.00. I will try a third party app. Are they all updated for the n810?

Re: Newbie Question Re: Media Player Library
Well I gave up and installed this ukmp program which is really good. Updated album art and found all my music files. Thanks for the tip. Now can I ask what is the best program for playing video. I have some xvid movies that I want to watch on my vacation roadtrip. Does the built in player suffice or is there a third party app that is better?
Thanks |
Re: Newbie Question Re: Media Player Library
I had the same problem with Media Player Library when I changed mmc2 for a larger one.Tried all of above remove card, change location... 8-P
I fixed it by uninstalling ogg-support and then reinstalling it. It seems to only find the Library on first install. |
