Same problem here- I was mainly wondering if the Maps option is useful on the N800, or is it only really for N810?

On the N800 you can use the maps basically as you would a paper map, to look at and find addresses etc. But if you buy a Bluetooth GPS you can use it the same as an N810 (eg. to track your location on the map).

I only tried the map of greece, because it was one of the smaller ones and the download worked. It also accepted my navicore key, so it looks OK.

The maps don't download within the program unless you get lucky. Ive been trying for a month and finally decided to give up until they allow you to download from pc to memory card.

I could use the memory space anyway.

solved my problem... download failed because there was not enough space on the internal memory card *doh*

If I get a navicore licence can I use it on both my N810 and my N800?
