hi all i will be getting a new n800 today,can someone please go over step by step on how to flash a 800 on a mac,i keep reading the nokia approved method but its a little complicated for me lol,also what is a easier method the gui or the nokia,thank you

There's a hundred different posts on this subject. Please remember to search in the future.

For now, the 770Flasher is incredibly straightforward to use.

And just so you know, I installed both OS2008 beta and official using 770flasher.app on Mac OSX, no problem.

If you have issues/problems feel free to email me. It can be tricky, and some posts on here are inaccurate--or at least less than specific. One important thing is to not have the USB cord attached until *just* after you start the flasher app.
