Pardon my rant: F'n morons at Letstalk
They put a hold on my credit card for the order amount.
They kept the hold on my credit card for more than 5 days, and forgot about it. They no longer have a record of the old, but my credit card does. So, now, thanks to the fact that they're idiots, I wont be getting my N810 any time soon, because I have to straighten out the hold with my credit card agency and then call letstalk back and let them try again. HOpefully before they sell out again. Meanwhile, I ordered 2nd day delivery as of November 19th. I don't think it'll be here by the 21st of November. (not this year, anyway). (yes, I know, they refer to shipping taking 2 days, not that they'll ship it within 2 days, but frankly, I don't give a rats posterior... when I say I want it in 2 days, I want it in 2 days, and they shouldn't offer me that if they're out of stock). Thanks for letting me rant. *sigh* |

Oh, and, let me take this opportunity to say: if you have a choice, don't order through letstalk. Those idiots aren't worth the trouble.

There are good people at lets talk, and then there are the others. It took me 11 phone calls to get my 810 from those folks. You could see my earlier post on this subject. It's a c**p shoot as to who you get. It did help me to talk to a supervisor. You could also keep calling until you get a competent salesperson. Nicole was very good. Maybe you could ask for her.

Sorry.:( I feel your pain. Almost word for word the same thing happened to me with letstalk when I bought my n800, except they actually charged my card twice and still did not get it right. I was able to cancel and get the money put back into my account within two days and went to a local store to buy it.
Edit: just to let other people know, if you order through the Nokia USA website, you probably already are going through letstalk. Just a warning. |

I'm still waiting for a refund after they botched my order so thouroughly i can't remember being that angry about a retail experience. every time i call, even now, they claim they sent me an n810 on dec. 5th. finally got mine at a compUSA.. anyone thinking about buying from letstalk: beware.

...not to mention they require your full social security number to place an order. There is no cause for anyone to be asking your SS# unless they are a bank or the government, period. Don't deal with these clowns.
