i want to know

what flashing the n810 does
what is it for
and how it is done if its not to much trouble

I don't believe you searched, sorry - I really don't. Or if you did search, you couldn't be bothered to read the dozens of hits you would have found.

Flashing is something you do, when you a are naked in a trechcoat!!

It could also be the process of updating your internet tablet to the latest Nokia release OS :) Thats probably the one your looking for?

Aow, common! It's only a hobby, for Petronius' sake! And most of the time I don't even bother with the trenchcoat; it chafes.

It also introduces you into the wonderful world of pointless application reinstallation. Hours of fun guaranteed!
