File size limit
Hello.
i've tried to copy an ISO (3.5GB to an sdhc (6gb) via usb cable connected to a pc but after i've umount it and than unplugged the cable, my iso was gone... i think it is a OS limit for 2gb...even if ext2 formatted. if i try to 'ls' the dir where i have put my iso, receive the message: "ls: /media/mmc2/filename.iso: value too large defined data type. any idea ? i know that ext2 haven't 2gb limit... thanks ! |
Re: File size limit
Well, I don't know which OS you are using, but there is an OS limitation to 1 GB in OS 2006, which you can change to 2 GB as explained in this thread:
http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ead.php?t=2906 I wouldn't be surprised if other versions had such limitations as well. |
