Xhost or Xauth
Hello!
Has anyone come across these for the Internet Tablets? (Xhost and/or Xauth) And if not, could you point me to a source package? Thanks |
Re: Xhost or Xauth
I just built the xhost from the debian sarge xbase-utils sources. I have the regular debian source repository in my scratchbox /etc/apt/sources.list and so i have quick access to all sources.
It runs fine after installing one more package, available in repositories: libxmuu1 Just that "xhost +" does not seem to realy give anyone access on the X of the IT. Maybe I forget to look somewhere - hosts allowed? Any opinion? Anyone succeeded? |
Re: Xhost or Xauth
I've tried several stuffs a month ago or so but didn't manage..
There's not even an .Xauthority file.. Starting the xserver with -noauth doesn't even work. There's something specific about this xserver, maybe there are some docs on the wiki explaining how this works. It could be hard-coded for user "user" |
Re: Xhost or Xauth
